My Latest Work

The Sum of All Things

I've been working at MyTechBestFriend since January and I've learned so many things. I've assisted in implementation projects as System Admin and led Requirement Elicitation meetings as BA. Turning the requirements into user stories is by far the most fun I've had as a BA. Tracking the team and the projects via Jira and leading Agile ceremonies as Scrum Master. So many hats and I'm not complaining, I'm grateful, the experience I've gained during this short period has made me quite valuable.
Womennow.dev has asked me to write an article and I couldn't be more proud. "The Purpose of Policies" in the hopes of helping others who may struggle with UI Policy vs Business Rules or Client Scripts.

Apprenticeship at MyTechBestFriend

I was selected to an apprenticeship position with a company called MyTechBestFriend. This company takes training very seriously and I saw that from day one. Even though it's entirely remote, in this company comradery is overflowing throughout my team. If anyone of us is struggling with incidents or new features, the team comes together and works on the problem until it is resolved. The phrase, "we're only as strong as our weakest link, " does not fall through the cracks here. Each one of us are dealt with with care and are eager to learn and grow.
From the initial onboarding to now being a couple of weeks in, the organizing within this company has been impeccable. The trainers are thorough, kind, and patient.
I've already learned so much here already, I'm really excited to see what more there is to learn.
